   KEYNOTE SPEAKER 1  

Prof. Jinlu Sheng
Chongqing Jiaotong University, China

Biography: Professor Jinlu Sheng is the Dean of the School of Shipping and Naval Architecture at Chongqing Jiaotong University. His research focuses on maritime safety and environmental engineering, smart ports and digital shipping, and intelligent vessels. He serves as a member of the National Vocational Education Steering Committee for Safety, a member of the Marine Engineering and Machinery Committee of the China Institute of Navigation, the Deputy Director of the Port and Shipping Economics Committee of the Systems Engineering Society of China, and a member of the Management Ergonomics Subcommittee of the Chinese Ergonomics Society. His awards include the Second Prize and Third Prize of the China Institute of Navigation Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize and two Second Prizes for Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements from the Yangtze River Shipping Administration. He has published over 70 academic papers, authored two monographs and four textbooks, and holds five authorized invention patents.

Research Focus: Maritime Safety and Environmental Engineering, Smart Ports and Digital Shipping, Intelligent Vessels.

   KEYNOTE SPEAKER 2  

 

 

Prof. Haitao Liu

School of Mechanical Engineering, Guangdong Ocean University, China

Biography: Professor Haitao Liu is currently the Director of Guangdong Marine Equipment and Manufacturing Engineering Technology Research Center, and also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Mechanical Application Professional Committee of the Chinese Tropical Crop Society. He is an outstanding young teacher in Guangdong Province's higher education institutions, the leader of the scientific research and innovation team in Guangdong Province's higher education institutions, and has been selected for the "Thousand and Ten" university level talent training program in Guangdong Province.

The main research directions include intelligent unmanned systems (such as drones, unmanned boats, underwater robots) as well as robot technology and applications. I have led more than 10 scientific research projects, published over 50 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author, and have been granted 13 invention patents. Won one second prize of Guangdong Agricultural Technology Promotion Award (ranked 7th), one special prize of Fan Li Science and Technology Award of China Fisheries Society (ranked 9th), and two special prizes of school level teaching achievements award (ranked 1st and 2nd respectively).

In terms of talent cultivation, 25 master's students have been guided, including 3 who have received national scholarships, 3 who have been awarded excellent master's theses, and 12 who continue to pursue doctoral degrees. In the past three years, he has twice been rated as an advanced individual in scientific research and the fourth excellent graduate tutor.
